Don't @ me. I'm from the East Coast but I'm not my friend Wendy who's from Baltimore and is an expert on crab cakes, says her. I just know I wanted to try and see if I can make them...guess what, I did and they turned out pretty pretty good.

This is a pretty good recipe and suprisingly...easy!
Ingredients
-
-1/2 lb of crabmeat, no shells (only did 1/2 a lb because shit’s expensive)
- -1/2 an egg (Just crack an egg, whisk it and use half)
- -1/4 cup vegan mayo
- -1 tbsp dijon mustard
- -3/8 cup gluten free bread crumbs
- -1 tbsp of fresh parsley, diced
- -1/4 tsp tabasco
-
-1/4 cup olive oil (for frying cakes)
Directions
- *Whisk together the egg, mayo, mustard, tabasco
- *In another bowl, mix the crab, crumbs and parsley. Add the wet mixture to the crab mixture. I just used my hands, makes it easier.
- *Form four cakes
- *Heat oil in pan, medium to high heat. Add cakes, cook for about 3 -4 minutes on each side.
Good with Gracefully Fed’s Lemon Aioli or our Siracha Mayo
- DELISH!
