Quick and Easy Clean Margarita
Who needs a drink?? I do! So full transparency, I don’t drink often. I actually can’t drink much. I also react to certain alcohols because of my condition. Wine gives me heart palpitations, beer has gluten but TEQUILA…she’s my best friend. Organic tequila is the only thing I have tried so far that has not given me reactions so…I make margaritas. And they are good! I try to lay off sugar as you all know so I use agave and it’s basically a skinny marg. Can’t go wrong with a margarita. Me, after one margarita.
1 cup of tequila, I use Casa Amigos
1 tablespoon of Agave
1/2 cup Lime Juice, I prefer fresh
Tajin or salt for rim of glass optional*
Pour all of the above in a shaker.
To coat the rim of your glass with tajin or salt, use a lime wedge and just rub it around the rib. Pour some tajin/salt ina dish, dunk your glass and the salt should stick.
Put fresh ice into your class and pour contents of shaker into glass.
For a spicier marg, add slices of jalapeno
