Now, who doesn't love a nice big bowl of Hummus all to themselves? Here's how to make it with a fun twist and without Tahini (which can be kinda expensive and isn't allergy friendly).

Ingredients
-
Can of Garbanzo Beans, drained and rinsed
-
1-2 Garlic Cloves, chopped
-
2-3 TBSP Olive Oil
-
1 TBSP Lemon Juice
-
Salt & Pepper to taste
-
1/4 tsp Cumin
-
Paprika (optional)
-
Optional ingredient ideas to add in for fun flavors; Avocado, Cilantro/Parsley/really any herb, Red Bell Pepper, Jalapeno, your favorite hot sauce, roasted garlic, cooked Sweet Potato, Black Beans, Chipotle, Spinach, roasted red peppers, cooked Beet, Nutritional Yeast...whatever your heart desires!
Directions
Drain and rinse your Garbanzo Beans.
Place in a Food Processor or Blender with your Olive Oil, chopped garlic, 2 TBSP water, Lemon Juice and Cumin. Blend until smooth. If the mixture isn't smooth enough, slowly pour some more Olive Oil in until you reach your desired consistency.
Season with Salt & Pepper to taste, then blend in your extras if you wish! For this recipe I added half an avocado, a large handful of Cilantro, and a drizzle of some of my favorite spicy green sauce.
Plate with a drizzle of Olive Oil over top and a sprinkle of Paprika if you're feeling fancy!
Eat with chips, fresh vegetables, by the spoonful...etc. :)
